Major Tom Bowie Bridges

Using criss-crossed steel bars in the 'wild' Bowie pattern, the deck structure is suspended from a slightly arched tube, 24.5 cm - 9.6" in diameter. For the Bowie Major Tom Bridge the maximum length of a single span is ca.12m | 39ft. The width of the bridge is 2 or 3 metres - 6.6 or 10 ft. This suspension bridge has a deck construction with a minimum height. On the inside, an optional hand rail is applied in stainless steel. The bridge complies with all local norms and standards.
