The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) is an international organisation dedicated to worldwide conservation and responsible forest management. The FSC promotes a suitable balance between environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable management of the world’s forests.
Wood and paper products originating from an FSC-certified forest are recognised by the FSC-label. To ensure that products with this quality mark actually come from a responsibly managed forest, all links in the supply chain, from processing to manufacturing to distribution, must be certified.
Streetlife is FSC-certified and is therefore part of the COC ‘Chain of Custody’ for three variants: FSC-100% (all the wood comes from an FSC-approved source), FSC-Mix (wood comes partly from an FSC-approved source and partly from controlled sources) and FSC-Recycled (wood that is recycled under specific conditions).
